CvSU holds 1st GAD Research Conference
The Cavite State University Gender and Development Focal Point System holds its 1st Gender and Development Research Conference on November 29, 2016 at Hostel Tropicana, CvSU, Indang, Cavite. The workshop was attended by 11 males and 35 females or a total of 46 GAD coordinators and alternates.
The activity started with an invocation and national anthem followed by the message from the Vice President for Research Extension and Continuing Education, Dr. Alejandro dC. Mojica, Sr. He expressed his continuous support to all the activities of Gender and Development. The introduction of the evaluators and participants was done by Ms. Raecel A. Estebat.
Eight research papers on GAD were presented. The research on Gender Differences: A Focus in Motivation and its Relationship to Physics Performance authored by Ms. Leah C. Navarro, faculty member of CvSU Naic Campus was awarded as Best Paper Award (1st Place).
The panel of evaluators were Ms. Mariedel Autriz, Ms. Caridad S. Merced, and Dr. Luzviminda A. Rodrin. (SMRom)
